The Mizuho OSI Hana Table is a state of the art fracture table that optimizes the Anterior Approach to Total Hip Arthroplasty (AATHA). The Hana Table has unique patient positioning capabilities that enable the surgeons to replace the hip through a single incision, with an anterior approach without detachment of muscle from the pelvis or femur. The Hana Table allows for safe hyperextension, adduction, and external rotation of the leg, incorporating the patented femoral lift and support system enhancing femoral exposure for improved component placement. the split design of the lower half of the Hana fracture table enables each leg to be positioned independently without the use of special external support. Once on the table, the legs are secured in place with special boots, letting the legs the rest freely. Since 2005, the Hana Table has been used to successfully position patients in thousands of these procedures.
